Recruitment for Hiring Managers

This training is especially formulated for hiring managers and other decision makers involved in the process of candidate selection who are not professional recruiters, but would like to strengthen their interviewing skills and learn how to create a more effective and efficient selection process.

The course will provide participants with all the skills and knowledge required to run an a successful candidate selection process, execute successful interviews and mitigate potential risk as well as the financial impact of a bad hire.

We focus on different interviewing methods, approaches and discuss their various applications. This includes the practice of the correcting behaviour and essential soft skills to develop hiring managers' confidence in using the new advanced recruitment techniques. We will teach advance interviewing and questioning methods, including behavioural and competency-based interview techniques. Together with participants, we discuss all potential interview pitfalls that might lead to a wrong hiring decision or create a negative candidate experience.

Training is typically 1-day in length and best accommodates groups of 5-12 participants. However, this can be adapted to your internal needs.
